Preparing for Submission

Submission of a manuscript implies that the work described has not been published in any other journals previously.

Double-blind Review

The journal uses a double-blind peer review process. Authors must remove any information information that may identify them as the author of the manuscript. anywhere in the manuscript.

Manuscript Template File

Authors should download and use the template file to prepare their manuscript. Manuscripts should be created with the template download from our website: Template for MS Word, HWP.

Language

Manuscripts must be in good English. Both British and American English is accepted, but not a mixture of these. Articles written in Korean are also accepted. However, a title and article abstract must be written in English.

The word count excludes title, author list and affiliations, keywords, and supporting information.

Title Page Information

Title : A concise and informative title should be used.
Author’'s name and Affiliations : Author(s) name must present Given Name and Family Name (e.g., Gil-dong Hong). Author affiliation must be placed directly below author(s) names and provide city, country name of each affiliation. Please remove information related to author(s) identity for double-blind review. Corresponding author: Clearly indicate an author who handles correspondence at all stages of publication. For the corresponding author please also include a contact e-mail address.

Abstract

An abstract must contain no more than 400 words. The abstract should also contain the following four sub-headings: Background, Methods, Result, and Conclusion.

Keywords

Up to 5 keywords must be provided after the abstract.

Subdivision

The main text must start with an introductory section which is titled and numbered from 1, followed by further sections which are subtitled and numbered from 1.1, etc.

Units

An author may use the international system of units (SI). If other quantities are mentioned, give their equivalent in SI.

Length of a Manuscript

A paper with 3000 words (excluding Endnotes and References) is appropriate. The file size should not exceed  50 MB .Includemanuscript and supplementary data (images & figures) separately). Thecontent should not exceed  is less than 12 pages. However, articles exceeding 12 pages in length will be published at a  supplementrychargecharge.

Footnotes

The use of footnotes is discouraged. Referencing and citation must be indicated within the text using the author/date referencing style recommended by the American Psychological Association(APA), e.g. where the author’s name appears within the text, “"As Kim and Lee (2010: p 7) suggest”", or all in parentheses where author’'s names are not cited specifically in text, e.g. “"As some authors suggest (Kim, 1999; Lee, 2010)”".

Figures and Tables

Number tables consecutively in accordance with where they appear within the text. A caption of no more than 15 words should be provided. The elements in the figures should be large enough to remain legible after the figure has been reduced to the width of a journal column or page.

Supplementary data

Supplementary data should be cited in the text and numbered with Arabic numerals, with each uploaded separately for print reproduction. All visuals should be supplied digitally. The images should be at least 150 dpi incm YK mode and saved as JPEG or TIFF files.

URL

All URL addresses in the text (e.g., http://www.design-science.or.kr/) should be activate and ready to click.

References

The list of references should only include works that are cited in the text and must follow the APA system. Some citation examples from the APA style are shown below:
